Thank you for visiting the official website of the Abnormally Sound Group.
Here, you will learn about us. Some things you will learn: our influences, what drives us, what are goals are, who we've collaborated with and who we aim to collaborate with.
You might also here sounds you enjoy or sounds you hate. Either way you're going to hear some sounds, and I hope you enjoy the journey.
Through this site, you will have the ability to contact us, connect with us and share with us. Use the navigation bar on the left (no, your other left) and explore exactly what makes us an Abnormally Sound Group.
We'd love to hear from you. We'd love, even more, an opportunity to work with you on a project, a remix, social outreach, or a collaboration.
Juggling an aspiring music career, with family and a corporate career is challenging. I'm forcing myself to dedicate chunks of free time to mixing. I have so many archived tracks which need remixing, it often becomes overwhelming.
Part of my remixing process is bringing up archived tracks, remixing drums and bass, adding live instrumentation and mixing for the best arrangements.
Some of the live instrumentation I've been incorporating into recent remixes are: turntable cuts, acoustic/electric guitars (courtesy of numerous great players), bass guitar (same players, different instruments), cajon percussions and talking with some great saxaphone and trumpet players.
I fully intend to release an instrumental album next year. I want every track to have a live instrument incorporated. It is great working with other musicians, meeting new ones and reconnecting with past ones.
